A dynamic and resourceful Family Medicine physician specializing in hospitalist and nocturnist medicine. I excel in navigating complex ICU and ER environments, combining deep clinical knowledge with a forward-thinking approach to healthcare technology. My expertise in clinical informatics, predictive analytics, and AI-powered workflow automation has consistently enhanced patient care and operational efficiency. I am passionate about bringing a unique blend of independent critical care skills and tech-driven innovation to a patient-centric team.
Growing up in Texas, I initially aspired to pursue a career in the NFL, playing football both in high school and college. However, my career plans took a different turn, leading me into the world of private security and the night industry. While I gained valuable experience working right out of high school, security was not sustainable nor my life’s calling. After completing my premedical prerequisites, I decided to pursue medicine, becoming the first physician in my generation. Throughout medical school, I had the opportunity to experience various medical settings across the country during my preclinical and clinical clerkships.
My initial interest in pulmonary/critical care medicine led me to choose internal medicine at Michigan State University (MSU). At the end of my PGY2 year, I made the decision to transition to a family and social medicine residency with the support and guidance of my program director. I completed an additional year of PGY2 and PGY3 at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City. At Montefiore, I provided social medicine to the underserved community in the Bronx, where there is a strong emphasis on inpatient care. I thrive in the fast-paced environment of running rapids and codes and am ACLS/BLS certified. My experience includes placing central lines, arterial lines, intubations, and occasionally performing paracentesis.
I currently practice in an Open-ICU setting hospital as a Hospitalist Physican as well as involved with AI Medical Consulting with ScaleAI/Outliar AI, EHR integration and workflow automation, as well as locums prn in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

"I've failed over and over and over again in my life and that is why I succeed."

"If you’re going to try, go all the way.
Otherwise, don’t even start.
This could mean losing girlfriends, wives, relatives and maybe even your mind.
It could mean not eating for three or four days.
It could mean freezing on a park bench.
It could mean jail.
It could mean derision.
It could mean mockery — isolation.
Isolation is a gift.
All the others are a test of your endurance, of how much you really want to do it.
And, you’ll do it, despite rejection and the worst odds.
And it will be better than anything else you can imagine.
If you’re going to try, go all the way.
There is no other feeling like that.
You will be alone with the gods, and the nights will flame with fire.
You will ride life straight to perfect laughter.
It’s the only good fight there is.”
Charles Bukowski
